1. Acceptance of Terms & Digital Portal Agreement

By accessing, registering, or utilizing the web services, directories, and one-pager mini-sites provided by the WEES Alumni Welfare Trust ("the Trust", "we", "our", or "us") via www.weesalumni.com, you explicitly acknowledge and agree to comply with and be bound by the terms, legal notices, and operating policies set forth herein.

2. Data Protection & Non-Marketing Commitment

The WEES Alumni Welfare Trust maintains strict administrative and technical safeguards to protect all member identity records. The Trust will never sell, rent, lease, trade, or commercially monetize personal alumni records, emails, or phone numbers to third-party telemarketing, advertising, or data brokerage agencies. Your data is used exclusively to support community connection, batch reunions, distress relief, and verified peer discovery.

3. Comprehensive Liability Disclaimer & Peer-to-Peer Networking Risk

The portal provides digital connectivity and one-pager mini-site hosting purely as a public benefit bridge to facilitate social reunions, networking, and legitimate business collaboration.

  • The Trust assumes no liability and makes no warranties, representations, endorsements, or guarantees regarding the veracity, professional performance, quality, legality, or financial outcome of any services, goods, cross-selling, consulting arrangements, investments, or commercial transactions conducted between alumni or with external public visitors.
  • All business interactions, contracts, employment hires, and commercial agreements are entered into strictly at the users' sole discretion, independent evaluation, and individual risk.
  • The Trust, its Board of Trustees, Office Bearers, and Portal Administrators are held completely harmless and immune from any claims, disputes, losses, liabilities, or damages arising out of member interactions.
4. Verification & General Register (GR) Audit

Alumni status is verified against school archives and General Register (GR) logs. The Secretariat reserves the right to suspend or unlist any account containing falsified credentials, misleading affiliations, or unauthorized commercial spam.

5. Standalone One-Pager Business Pages (/p/username/)

Members who publish standalone public one-pager landing pages are solely responsible for the truthfulness and copyright of their uploaded logos, copy, client testimonials, and service descriptions. Misrepresentation of official Trust endorsement is strictly prohibited.

6. Donations & 80G Tax Exemption Status

Voluntary contributions towards Trust welfare funds, distress relief, and student scholarships are non-refundable and eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act. Official receipts are generated digitally upon successful reconciliation.
